Collective Workshop

There is a daily act of worship which is broadly Christian in nature. We have a Collective Worship Group made up of children from KS2 who are responsible for setting up assemblies and being involved with the act of worship. The whole school meet as a collective body to have time to think, reflect and celebrate. The Rector and representatives from St Peter's Church and other churches conduct assemblies and services in St Peter's Church and in school on a regular basis, including Harvest, Advent, Christmas, Easter and an end of term service. These are times when the whole school community gathers and parents and friends are encouraged to attend these services wherever possible. Parents/carers may request the right to withdraw their child from Collective Worship, after Consultation with the Headteacher, and must inform the school in writing. Parents/carers then have the responsibility to supervise their own children during this time.
